Petra, born in Mexico in 1993, is a visionary artist who explores the fusion of the human form with the virtual realm through dynamic visual compositions. Her creations blend the organic essence of nature with cutting-edge technologies, incorporating elements such as creative programming, machine learning, 2D and 3D animation, as well as performance and dance captured on screen. Petra's artistic prowess has been showcased at prestigious venues worldwide, including the Museo Chiapas de Ciencia y Tecnología, Miami Art Week, Super Chief Gallery NFT, and London Fashion Week.

In addition to being an artist, Petra is a seasoned performer who has collaborated with renowned stage companies like Nadére Arts Vivants (CAN) and Baal Dance Company (ES), as well as esteemed institutions such as INBAL, SHCP, SCJ, and Alianza Francesa Mexico. Her artistic evolution took a significant turn in 2019 when she began digitalizing her work, immersing herself in projects at the intersection of cryptography, generative art, and new media.

Petra's creative journey is a tapestry of exploration and innovation, rooted in her early training in contemporary dance at the Universidad de Guadalajara. Over time, she has ventured into various dance forms, seamlessly integrating them with video art and digital media, especially during the pandemic era. Her eclectic style traverses themes as diverse as improvisation, transhumanism, identity, synthetic art, transmedia narratives, and generative dance. Constantly evolving, Petra embraces fluidity in her approach, driven by a commitment to authentic expression and ongoing experimentation with technology.
