Aida Boldeanu is a Romanian photographer (born in 1985) who lives in Prague, Czech Republic and embraces the various aspects of multi-cultural environments.
Alongside her diverse career and passion for the arts, Aida spent many years volunteering with autistic children, an experience that shaped her empathetic approach to her work and deepened her understanding of the human spirit.
Her professional journey includes roles as Romania's cultural representative in the EU, radio moderator, magazine editor, and art project manager. In parallel, she studied Economical Informatics and held positions in sales, IT support, project management, and IT infrastructure coordination. Despite these varied roles, her love for photography and people has always been a guiding force in her life.
Fascinated by how light can shift perspectives, Aida's photography centers around contrasts and the human element. Since moving to Prague, she began focusing on portraiture, using her lens to restore people's self-image and capture the emotional depth beyond the physical body. Her work is more than just photography—it's a form of therapy, capturing raw emotions, mental spaces, and the essence of her subjects.Aida's talent has earned her recognition through features in magazines and exhibitions worldwide, including New York, Boston, Bali, Romania, California, Paris, and Prague. Her photography journey, though not rooted in formal academic training, has flourished through accolades, canvas print sales, and the success of her work in the NFT space. She has also curated artists through a web3 newsletter and recently served as Art Director at NFT Bucharest.
