I am a visual artist. I'm 46 years old and I have been dedicated to art for more than 20 years. My media are mainly drawing and painting, but I have also made 2D animations and 3D sculptures. My art is surrealistic, intimate, and narrative, full of magical realism. I have been working with physical art until I fell in love with digital art! I love to tell stories and translate feelings into images. Many times, my visual work is also accompanied by written poetry. Always figurative, in my work you can find human figures, animals, and objects, inhabiting a world of intimate fantasy that transmits deep feelings from my own lived or dreamed experiences.

I studied art at the San Alejandro Academy in Havana. At that time, I was very doubtful of my artistic qualities. I wished I could paint and draw the human figure as easily as I could draw animals; however, it was not so. With time and experience, I found my own way of constructing the human figure, giving more importance to the emotions it transmitted to me than to the correct proportions. With animals, it was always easy for me. Since I was very young, I observed them and they fascinated me, so it was natural for me to draw them.
