Shad

Shad is a multi-awarded dark art photographer and body painting artist.
His mother is an ethnic Greek from Ukraine and his father from Russia. He graduated from the medical academy and has been working as a doctor since then. He had many hobbies and while working in medicine he tried to find himself in other fields. Shad started getting into photography in 2005, doing amateur shoots in different genres. In 2018, he decided to take a serious training in photography from the best masters he could find in order to pursue photography professionally. Starting in 2020, his works started winning at international photography awards and exhibiting all over the world. So photography became his main profession.

Before becoming a professional photographer, I used to keep exotic animals, trained in motocross and circuit road racing and was a guitarist in a metal band.

For many years I conducted clinical trials for major international pharmaceutical companies as a principal investigator, but later I chose photography and retired from clinical research.

During shootings I prefer to do everything myself, including applying makeup, so the shoots take up to 11 hours.
